Marvelous Maker

of Heterogeneous Things

About me

I am a graphic designer, illustrator, and marvelous maker of many other things. Born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, I escaped to Chicago after high school, and graduated from the Illinois Institute of Art – Chicago with a BFA in Visual Communications.

In addition to various DIY projects and moonlighting freelance work, I have nearly a decade of experience in the design industry. I’ve done work for clients such as Sara Lee (Bakery, Sweet Goods and Meats divisions), Sanford (Sharpie, Expo, and uni-Ball), American Italian Pasta Company (Ragu pasta, Mueller’s, Golden Grain, Anthony’s), Pepsico, Spangler Candies, NicePak (Wet-Nap), and Everpurse. My specialties include illustration, package design, web design, branding and identity, photo art direction, shopper merchandising, and consumer promotions.
